Job Description:

Game Show Network is looking for a Coordinator, Development to support the EVP of Development & Production and the SVP, Development as well as the Development department as a whole. This person will serve as an administrative support and office liaison, coordinating communication with internal Game Show Network divisions, external business partners and the creative community.ResponsibilitiesCalendar management (setting internal and external meetings including gathering all info and materials needed for mtgs)Coordinating logistics and prepping materials for meetingsCreating agendas for weekly and special meetings and gathering assets (videos, pictures, etc.)Maintaining a master grid of other networks' greenlights & current unscripted seriesUpdating Weekly Development Grid - projects, pitches, loglines & statusAssisting in the development process (brainstorming, run-throughs, tech logistics, etc.)Creating presentations for both recurring and special meetingsUsing software programs for presentations including: Canva, PPT, Midjourney, keynote and emerging creative AI tools to create and update pitch decks for development projectsAd hoc research projectsi.e. - gathering information on talent, existing IP, history of a game show etc.Maintaining an awareness of industry trends, formats, talent and the competitive marketplaceCreating & maintaining a data base of buyers and executives at other networks and production companiesCreating and maintaining a master list of outside creative partners, buyers and network execs that GSN and GSES interact withGeneral administrative duties including:Calendar management, scheduling, expenses, and travelQualificationsAttentiveness to detail and organizationCompetence in managing projects, situations and peopleReadiness to be a team player and cover for other department assistants as neededInterest in current alternative programmingThe willingness to e mbody our c u l t u re of b e i ng c o l l a bo r a t i ve, a sel f - star t e r , c o m p et i t i v e, p a s s i o n a t e, bo l d, d i st i n c t i v e, i nn o v at i ve, c r e at i ve and a ble to have fun!St r o n g team o r i enta t i on and i n t e rp e rso n al s k il l sE xce l l ent v e r b a l and w r i t t en c o mm u n i c at i o n sk i l l s (grammar, spelling etc.)A curiosity about and a desire to learn creative development for unscripted content.Exper i e n c e w ork i ng i n a fa st - p a c ed, d e adl i ne dr i ven e n v i ro nm entThe a bility to w ork w e l l wi th o t he r s and c o l l a bo r ate a c ro s s t h e org a n i z at i on to a c h i e ve goa l sProficient in deck preparation software (ie: PPt, Canva, ChatGPT, Keynote, Midjourney).An understanding of all social media platforms.Proficient in zoom, Microsoft Teams (all Microsoft software), Dropbox, WeTransfer and other communication and shared doc programs.Required Minimum: BA/BS DegreeRequired Minimum: The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience in the entertainment or media industrySony Pictures Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
