We have an exciting opportunity to increase our 2nd Shift Swiss Machining department and are hiring a 2nd Shift Swiss/Star Machinist to join our team.Location Profile: Located in North Hollywood, CA, AvibankManufacturing, Inc.,a PCC Company, a part of the EngineeredProducts Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.Position Summary:Level one machinists/operators, under direct supervision, load and unload parts in operation of 2-5 axis CNC/Automated mill and lathe machine tools to produce complex machined aerospace parts. Level one machinists are responsible for in process inspection of machined product, which requires basic competencies in shop math, hand measuring tools and documentation. Level one machinists are responsible for some deburr operations as well as basic preventative machine maintenance, which includes coolant and lube levels and area cleanliness. Typically, 0-2 years of experience.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/ Star Machines
  • Inspects produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
  • Loads/unloads parts in provided work holding method per setup
  • Replaces broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
  • Deburr parts as required
  • Completes work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards

    • Demands of a manufacturing environmentRequired Experience:1-year minimum experience in industry or related field. Preferred certification in CNC operations.Level of Education:High school diploma/GED equivalent required. A minimum of at least 1 year experience in industry or related field.

      For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.50 to $33 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
