Specialist!Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer
service in a healthcare setting? We're on the lookout for a
dedicated Patient Access Specialist (PAS) to be the welcoming face
at our front desk, manage the checkout process, and handle calls in
our bustling call center. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment
and love helping people, this role is for you!What You'll Do:As a
key player in our team, your day-to-day will include:Patient
Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of patient privacy
following HIPAA.Customer Service Excellence: Exhibit outstanding
customer service and adhere to our Customer Service Performance
Standards.Professional Interactions: Handle patient calls and
visits with professionalism and courtesy, address questions, and
resolve minor complaints efficiently.Team Coordination: Maintain
open communication with providers, medical assistants, and
colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.Service Awareness: Stay
informed about our services and upcoming events to assist patients
effectively.Registration Responsibilities:Warm Welcomes: Greet
patients and complete their registration using our Electronic
Medical Record (EMR) system.Document Management: Scan and verify
essential patient information, including demographics and insurance
details.Form Assistance: Help patients fill out necessary forms
with ease.Payment Processing: Manage patient payments, ensuring
cash box security and daily reconciliation.Patient Flow Monitoring:
Oversee the patient experience from registration to treatment,
ensuring all concerns are addressed before checkout.Maintenance:
Keep waiting and reception areas clean, safe, and welcoming.Supply
Management: Ensure all office supplies are stocked and ready for
daily operations.Scheduling Duties:High-Volume Calls:
Professionally manage a high volume of patient calls, addressing
inquiries and routing calls as needed.Data Entry: Accurately enter
new patients into the EMR and update existing patient
information.Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance eligibility
and understand our contracted payers.Appointment Management:
Identify patient needs, resolve inquiries, and schedule or modify
appointments seamlessly.Qualifications:High School diploma or
equivalent.Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced, stressful
situations.A pleasant, positive attitude and professional
appearance.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and
continuous improvement.Strong verbal and written communication
skills.Excellent customer service abilities.Familiarity with EMR
