• Certification Details
• American Heart Association only. ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP required for various units.
• License Verification required within 30 days of start.
• IV Certification (LVN/LPN), Fire Card (LA City facilities only)
• Proof of current license.
  • Job Details
  • Must have NICU EXPERIENCE ICU RN.
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
  • Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current and valid state RN License.
    • Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross).
    • Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross).
    • Minimum 1 year as a staff RN in acute care hospital critical care preferred.
    • COVID vaccination preferred.
    • Epic EMR experience preferred.
    • Float to units of competency.
      • Unit Specific Information
      • PHS-2043 SFMC Neonatal ICU
        • Additional Details
        • American Heart Association only. ACLS required for various units.
        • BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, and other certifications as per unit requirement.
        • Advanced EFM required for L&D - must be updated every 2 years.
        • MAB is required for ER and Psych.
